Feudi di San Gregorio Falanghina

$20.00

Originally a part of our “Tastes Like Sauvignon Blanc” pack, this is a great bottle to open into the fall and winter months—here’s why!

Falanghina (pronounced fa-lann-GHEE-na) is a very, very old grape from the region of Campania in Southern Italy. It almost went extinct in the 20th century, but was revived by wineries like Feudi di San Gregorio who understood its potential (and need!) in the hot, sun-drenched climate of the region.

This wine is dry and bright like Sauvignon Blanc, but instead of being as acidic or zippy, Falanghina tends to showcase a rounder profile with notes of stone and tropical fruit. It still tastes like summer in a glass AND can stand up to heartier dishes—think sea bass, scallops in cream sauce, and even white pizzas.
